The lake was really low due to last year's drought. As such there were some really neat findings. All these plants and flowers that had grown where there would normally be water and there were butterflies everywhere. It was like being in a butterfly garden!
This fish was over a foot long.
The kids made an attempt at fishing but nothing was biting.

The other really cool thing - these huge shells were everywhere. We brought home bags of them. They were probably about 4 inches, and at least 2 inches wide just for one half of the shell.
Reagan had fun playing with the worm. Eeeww. She said it was all tickly.
