February Happenings

Ashley and Reagan celebrated the 100th day of school early in the month. They each decorated their shirt with 100 things on it and then got to be in the school parade.

TWO Zero the Hero's came to school for the 100th day!!

We took the Girl Scout troop to tour a fire station.

We took pictures with Olaf because my girls, like everyone else's girls, LOVE Frozen, though we were seeing the Lego movie.

We had a pre-Valentine's day dinner at MeMe's. Can you say American Girl?

This picture of Kaitlyn from her class party is actually the only Valentine's Day picture I have of the kids - will explain why in my next post!

Mike was "heart attacked" by the Faith in God girls for being the Executive Secretary in our bishopric!

And we concluded the month with Go Texan Day, a Houston tradition that I remember even when I was a kid. That being said, our school does not promote it (though lots in the area do). Stupid school. So lame. Ashley's teacher this year promoted it on her own to her class and lots of kids dressed up. My others "sort of" dressed up. At least they tried, but they didn't wear hats or anything because they probably would have been the only ones. But here are my kids showing their Texas and Houston pride. It's really in honor of the Houston Rodeo, the largest rodeo in the world, kicking off. So here are my pseudo-cowgirls! Yee haw!
