What are the little things that have been going on earlier this fall?
Well, the big girls started 5th grade, their last year of elementary school. For me, there is a weirdness about this that is just out there all the time. And the little girls are no longer kindergarteners. They are in 1st grade! This is all just too weird for me.
Kaitlyn has been getting more into ice skating. She's now on her 6th class and we finally outfitted her with the proper attire and fitted skates. I think we might have found something she likes!
She also played on her first volleyball team. She thought it was okay but she has come to the conclusion that she doesn't like anything with a ball. I can get that.
Queen Elsa apparently held a meeting with the princesses or made some kind of important announcement.
We had a girl scout campout in our backyard after our camping trips keep getting rained out and have been difficult to reschedule.
Reagan won the PRO Award for her class the first 9 weeks (People Respecting Others)! Many of my girls have won this before and I am always so proud - of all the awards they could get, I am glad this one is based on how they treat others. Nothing is more important really.
Mackenzie completely impressed me when she made an entire presentation, dressed up in a nice dress and heals and used a pointer to go through WHY she thought she should be able to get a cell phone. If only she weren't in 5th grade, I might have considered it. Well done and she had great points!
And Peter Pan has been visiting Ashley at night and leaving her love notes! Until he stopped. Then Ashley threw him in the trash can. Note to future boys - don't cross this one!
So those are the funny, random things that have been going on lately. Fall is always so busy! These are just the small things!
