The little girls started off the year with their 7th birthday. It was only their second day back at school from Christmas break, except that Ashley was actually sick and had to stay home. She was so bummed because they have never been to school on their birthday and she had been looking forward to it. She did, however, start feeling better in the day so we got to go run errands and even went up to school to have lunch with Reagan. No fever, just headaches on and off, so not breaking any school rules here!
We dropped off donuts for Reagan's class birthday treat and picked up breakfast tacos for lunch. Then Ashley started to have this crazy good luck. At the breakfast taco place, the guy at the cashier gave her a Frozen ring. He said someone told him to give it to a little girl who came in that day and I guess since most children were at school she got the ring! I told him it was her birthday so it was really great! THEN...after lunch we went to Target and while checking out, one of the workers asked if she could give her all this stuff. They were clearing out Christmas stuff and she got Target dog Christmas Pez dispensers and a wind up Target dog that came out of a gift card pack. We told them it was her birthday and that she was a twin so they gave us double for her sister! Ashley was so happy with all her loot! What a crazy day! She said it was the best birthday ever! And she was...eh hem...sick.
That night we went to Souper Salad for the third year in a row. That's their favorite restaurant. They love getting to pick all their food and of course have ice cream at the end. MeMe and Rick came so they opened their presents, including these cute Frozen hats with braids!
