I had a really great Christmas this year. Doing two Christmases on Christmas Eve and less on Christmas Day really slowed things down just enough to make it more enjoyable.
First we had Christmas with Mike's family. Here's everybody in their "silly" pose.
The little girls enjoyed getting new red dresses and cutie pops. The big girls enjoyed their new sparkly vest outfits and some painting sets. (This picture is actually from the next day when she got the skirt from her cousins that just so happened to completely match her vest and top set!)

Then it was off to PaPa Benny's and Gma Patti's for dessert. The kids all got silly animal hats (with long attached glove thingies), Stompeez (including Kaitlyn's box that only had one in it), dancing animal ipod speakers, sparkly shoes, and a bunch of other stuff.
It was a miracle that all the presents were actually wrapped before we started doing the gifts on Christmas Eve (worked right up to the last minute) but actually managed to be done and in bed by midnight! Hallelujah! We set a record since having kids. Told the kids they were not to come out before 7am, and sure enough at 7:00 we could hear bustling around the living room.
Too many gifts to mention, but some highlights included Kaitlyn getting a backscratcher in her stocking.
And her magic set.
Reagan and Ashley got DreamLites.
Mackenzie got a Harry Potter lego set that turns into a game. For someone who doesn't usually do legos she put it together like a pro!
MeMe and Rick's house:
Ashley and Reagan got hooded towels, poofy skirts, and poodle purses (just like the one Ashley had seen in the store and wouldn't let go of that no one even knew about!).
Poor Rick. He loves kids so much they completely don't realize the torture he endures because he never lets on.
Reagan found just a perfect spot to show off her new dress!
It was a really nice two days. And I've been lazy ever since. Slowly getting it all put away and enjoying the slower pace!
