Christmas Eve 2013

In an effort to fit everybody in and have our annual "Four Christmases," we have started making an annual time for each family, though it has shuffled around a bit. We are now having Christmas with Mike's family on Christmas Eve lunch. So we ordered Mexican (cuz we're in Texas and all) and then began round 1 of presents!

Even the dog got into the spirit of opening gifts. OK no she didn't. She did not voluntarily put this bow on her head.

Mike with PaPa, NaNaw, and Aunt Chrissie.

And NaNaw and PaPa brought this yummy Christmas cake.

Round 2 - off to my Dad's house for Christmas Eve! The kids did arts and crafts while we cleaned up dinner.

We had to laugh at the tree. PaPa Benny and Patti are busy busy people and I'm pretty sure they pulled the tree out that day and just stuck it up. Half the lights didn't even work but they just left it that way. They would probably die for me posting this on the internet but we all thought it was funny.

The little girls with Uncle Taylor...

We had a fun "candy" exchange and the girls all got VISA gift cards. Most happy was Reagan because she is going to combine it with her money she got earlier from PaPa and get her an American Girl doll, which she was starting to think she would never be able to save that much money! In fact, we're headed to the store today for that all-important occasion!

It was a busy and wonderful Christmas Eve, and we still had to travel home and get ready for Santa Claus!
