We are so proud of their decision to be baptized and follow the Lord. Hopefully we've done a good job preparing them for what this means. We also were careful to stress to them that this was their choice to make, and so they did make an excellent choice!
They also get to be baptized by their dad. They do not have to wear the jumpsuits but it has to be all white. I didn't have a SECOND little white dress lying around (or two) so we just used the standard jumpsuits which was kind of sweet. Mackenzie actually had to be baptized twice because her foot came up the first time. They even tell you to pin their hair back because it ALL must go under the water. It was done in the baptismal font in our church that opened up into a room where we had all our guests. It's overall a small ceremony, just for our two girls. Makes it very meaningful and intimate.
We sang songs, had a couple talks, and Kaitlyn and I even sang a duet together! Then our Bishop and Primary President spoke and it was over. But it was a great baptism with many guests from our family who go to various different churches. It was great to include everybody in the program and see how we all might do and say things a little differently, but we can come together on the most important points of the gospel. The Holy Spirit was definitely there and felt strongly by all who attended. I know it was a special day and I know our Father in Heaven was pleased.

Sorry i missed this post...had to come and say that they look like absolute little angels in their white!
