So our team is the Astros! How fitting! When Mike told the girls they were on the Astros, he expected this great reaction that they would think it was neat that their team name was the same as the local MLB team. They looked at him like he had grown a third eyeball. You mean that one game they went to last year didn't stick with them? How can this be?
Anyway, it was a fun and gorgeous day! Here are the pictures:
Mackenzie....
Practice throw. She looks a bit more giggly than the other players on the team!
Leisurely practice run.
The only player on the team posing for her picture! Gotta love girls!
More practice running
Good underhand form
The tee took this swing pretty hard.
But as you can see next shot was great because here she is on 1st Base!
Now Kaitlyn.........
She's got the stance down pretty good.
Doesn't she look like she's just going to sock it to somebody?
Somebody get that ball rolling by.....Hey, you can at least see that she tried!
Practice run
She actually looks like she belongs on a pitcher's mound, though I don't think the skills are there quite yet.
I think this was practice which is the only thing that explains why she was running with her glove.
Strike the pose!
Notice the ball is gone but she is still staring at the tee. Hmmm, somebody tell her to run!
Game over! No one kept score. Thank goodness because they would have killed us. But here are the two happy kids celebrating with snacks for a job well-done! They're ready for next time!
And now....the support team....
Mike with his sister, Aunt Chrissie, and the two little girls
The official men's t-ball spectator's pose
Little cutie pie...I think she was trying to get out.
How cute is this picture! I don't know why but it's one of my favorites that I've ever taken of Miss Reagan.
And this one too...what a happy girl!
Oh, and best line of the day.....on the way home, Kaitlyn asked if their game was going to be shown on TV. We tried so hard not to laugh. Priceless.
Too cute! When we went to BounceU they had a tee with a ball hovering in the air just over it. The boys nailed it with great follow through swinging. My girls, not so good! Just tapped the ball off the T sometimes even with a vertically held bat!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so adorable!!! Cole and Bella did t-ball last year and it was pretty entertaining to say the least!!
