We told the kids to wait until 7. And they did. Precisely at 7am they all came running down the stairs and into our room and flipped on the lights. Nice! But it's okay. So we were up and they wasted no time getting started.
Ashley was purely ecstatic to get her Peter Pan Live DVD that she had asked for.
Sisterly love after exchanging gifts...
More exchanging. I don't remember what Mackenzie got them but they smothered her in hugs and somehow managed to knock her or drag her off the couch.
Mackenzie in some of her new fashions.
Kaitlyn looking to see what was in her big bag...
It was a bag!! An ice skating bag!
Reagan got her Sticker by Number and also learned how to make a headband with her new Tooby Loops.
We were able to actually rest and enjoy the day and then head to MeMe's that night. My step-brother Scott came since he just moved back to Houston. It was great to have him there! The kids needed to get reacquainted with Uncle Scott!
Kids got MORE stuff and all were happy!
What a great Christmas and how blessed we are to have all that we need and have so many in our family to share these special occasions with. We must all remember to count our blessings and remember - of whom much is given, much is required! May we all be diligent in serving others and keeping the Lord's commandments. It's the least we can do. Happy Birthday Jesus!
