We still managed to stay together for trick or treating this year. Not sure how much longer the big girls will let us do this. So my niece, some friends from school and neighbors all got together and we went in a big group. My kids were Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, and Maleficent. Mackenzie just couldn't be talked into being Sven the Reindeer or a troll.
After trick or treating, we parted ways, stopped by the haunted house that this year really had people go through the house (fantastic job for a one-day operation), and then went to a friend's Halloween party.
Then we had trunk or treat the night AFTER Halloween. And yeah, it is always more fun to dress up. The church crew weren't sure what to think of our tats! Fun being bikers - we resurrected old biker outfits and added the tats. Mackenzie decided the Maleficent costume was annoying her so she wore her robot costume and said she actually had more fun in it - everyone thought she was a disco ball! And my little Frozen crew was just adorbs.
